Challenge

At that scale, Semrush's content program needed contributors who could operate strategically, maintain editorial quality under pressure, and align closely with SEO, design, and brand teams to move the needle on rankings and engagement.

Work

From January 2022 to July 2023, Claire worked as a senior content contributor and strategic partner — writing and refreshing long-form content while also providing structured feedback on briefs, outlines, and positioning. She collaborated across editorial, SEO, and design teams, and contributed to updates to editorial guidelines and contributor onboarding processes.

Results

  • Contributed to 257% traffic growth, from 1.4M to 5M monthly sessions

  • Increased top 3 ranking keywords by 178%, from 15K to 42K+

  • Led major refreshes of legacy content to improve depth, accuracy, and conversion alignment
